When it becomes necessary to close or delay school due to inclement weather, an announcement will be made over local radio and TV stations.

If SPRINGFIELD PUBLIC SCHOOLS are delayed or closed, St. Joan of Arc will be delayed or closed. Should an emergency arise concerning only our school, St. Joan of Arc will be specifically mentioned. Parents are asked to refrain from calling the school and parish offices for updates on this information.

WHEN SCHOOL IS CLOSED DUE TO AN EMERGENCY SITUATION,OR BECAUSE OF INCLEMENT WEATHER, ALL AFTER SCHOOL ACTIVITIES AND EVENING MEETINGS ARE ALSO CANCELLED.

If other school systems have a delay (Anthony Wayne, Maumee, and/or Toledo), it is the parent’s responsibility to get the child to school.

There is NO Extended Day on inclement weather days when school is closed, regular school holidays noted on the school calendar or on conference or in-service days when school is not in session.

There is NO before school Extended Day when school is closed or delayed. When there is a school delay, there is No morning kindergarten, and Extended Day will not be available until 2:50 p.m.
